New Beginnings

Ok so let's go, round 2.

We will make it, I know that for sure. 

Let's start with new story that Vanessa and I have come up with. It will be about Daniela Gonzalez, an 18 year old Hispanic girl whose dreams are to become a world renowned model but something holds her back, her parents. As people who went to college and got a degree to become doctors, Daniela's parents want her to do the same after all the hard work they went through. She comes from a middle class family that lives in the suburbs and she works hard to pursue her modeling career. Although she doesn't rebel back to her parents, she feels a bit discouraged because of their strong opinion against modeling. 

Daniela will be depicted as a diligent girl who works at McDonald's to earn money for open calls and begin her career in modeling. She will definitely show her passion for modeling through the shots we take and with mise-en-scene. We will show her parents disapproval by their expressions and how her room will have influence from both modeling and her parents (college brochures, SAT, etc).

Vanessa and I met up today and we did the storyboard (which I will share with you tomorrow), made the props, and planned how the setting will look like. The film opening will be filmed at my house which is an easier location for us to film without worrying about lighting or people around. I think we have everything ready to film and I'm extremely glad. We are definitely going in the right path.
